MVNO FPT Mobile in Vietnam Integrates Connectivity Packages with Innovative Health Services

FPT Mobile, a leading mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Vietnam, has teamed up with FPT Long Chau pharmacy and the health platform TrueDoc to launch a range of health and connectivity packages in Vietnam.


The integrated offerings seamlessly combine telecommunication services with essential medical care benefits, providing users with a holistic solution for their well-being and digital needs.

The new healthcare packages offer a combination of data allowances, on-net/off-net voice call minutes, and valuable medical care services, designed to cater to diverse customer requirements. The FPT Mobile healthcare packages, available with both physical or as eSIM, range from 129,000 VND ($5) to 229,000 VND ($8.87) per month.

For example, when registering for the 229,000 VND per month package, customers will receive:

  • 60GB data/month (2GB data per day),
  • 500 minutes of voice calls to others using the FPT MVNO - or its host operator MobiFone
  • 30 minutes of voice calls to other mobile networks.
  • Free data access to FPT Long Chau pharmacy app, TrueDoc health applications, and FPTshop.
  • Two online health consultations per month with specialists, proactive health care with family doctors
  • Free shipping when buying medicine
  • Advice from FPT Long Chau pharmacy
  • Automated medication schedule reminder.


In addition, users can choose to sign up for 12 months at 2,148,000 VND/year ($83.24), giving them the same as the monthly package but with:

  • Unlimited online health consultation
  • One free home test kit screening for blood, liver, kidney, metabolic diseases
  • 10% discount when ordering health products on the TrueDoc platform In addition, customers signing up for the 12-month package will be given an additional 60 days of use, bringing the total time to use all services to 14 months.


By integrating its existing assets within the FPT group and a partnership with a health service provider, FPT Retail’s MVNO is demonstrating a commitment to providing innovative solutions that address both the communication and healthcare needs of their customers in Vietnam.

The MVNO was launched officially on January 11, 2024, and after 12 months of operation, it had achieved 400,000 subscribers (January 2025).

In its preparation documents for the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled to be held on April 25, FPT Retail says that the exploitation of its MVNO will continue to be promoted as part of the company's strategy to improve its digital ecosystem.Vietnam currently has 6 active MVNOs. The participation of MVNOs in the Vietnamese market has, and is expected to, contribute to new types of services within finance, education, health, hospitality, entertainment, etc., fueling Vietnam’s digital economy, which has already outpaced other markets in the region.
